The Nepal Wushu Volunteer Coach Committee on Sunday felicitated Nima Gharti Magar, Bijay Sinjali, Mangal Prasad Tharu and Juni Rai with the best player awards.
Gharti Magar and Sinjali were named the best players in Taolu section, while Tharu and Rai got the awards in sansau category.
Deepak Hamal was named the emerging player, while Sushmita Tamang was declared the most valuable player.
All the players, except for Tharu, won gold medals in the 13th South Asian Games held on home soil in December 2019.
Tharu had bagged silver medal. Former Minister Mahesh Basnet and Bhaktapur District Sports Development Committee President Shree Bhakta Kasichhawa among others handed over Rs 5,000 along with awards, felicitation letters and gift hampers to the winners.
