Nepal set 105-run target in T20I series decider against UAE

KATHMANDU: Although the Twenty-20 series decider against UAE was reduced to 10 overs after rain played spoilsport, Nepal got on a boundary spree and secured 104 runs with three wickets to spare.

Nepal who showed exceptional batting prowess had lost the toss and sent to bat first by the hosts at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

Following a poor start with opener Pawan Sarraf sent off in the first over, Skipper Khadka recouped the loss with 29 runs off 14 balls. Likewise, youngster Sundeep Jora hammered three towering sixes to take his tally to 28 runs off 11 balls before he was bowled at 7th over.
