‘PAs should focus on development, prosperity’
Pokhara, March 21
National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timilsina today urged the provincial assemblies to work for people’s happiness and prosperity.
Speaking at an interaction organised by Kaski Chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists in Pokhara, Timilsina said people should experience change and see prosperity in the next five years.
“Ministers should not only limit themselves to cutting ribbons and delivering speeches. They have to focus on making plans and implementing them for the betterment of the people,” Timilsina added.
Timilsina said the federal Parliament should make laws as soon as possible so that the provincial governments could focus on development and prosperity. He said he would press the government to formulate necessary laws at the earliest.
Timilsina also urged the government to adopt zero tolerance towards corruption.
