GAUSHALA: Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel have been deployed along the East West Highway and forest area in Mahottari in view of Hindu festivals like Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, police said.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Pandit said that the security personnel have been deployed as part of integrated security plan in the area covering Ratopul of Mahottari and Banke River bordering Sarlahi district in order to curb increasing number of robberies during festivals.

He informed the security personnel have been patrolling in different eight places of Mahottari.
