The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology says a partial westerly wind combined with the monsoon, plus a low-pressure system near North Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, is driving rain across Nepal - expected to weaken in 24 hours. Bagmati, Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Lumbini are seeing light to moderate rain, raising flood risk in Valley corridors. Stay cautious near riverbanks.
