ISLAMABAD: At least six people were killed and nine wounded in a suicide attack on a military base in the Pakistani town of Kamra on Friday, police said.

The incident took place some 80 kilometres (50 miles) west of Islamabad near the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC).

"It was a suicide attack, which killed six people including four civilians and two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel," district police chief Fakhar Sultan told AFP.
