BJP sacks Yashwant as spokesman

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today axed former external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha as spokesman for attacking Jharkhand’s BJP-led government, unleashing a process that could lead to his expulsion. “Party president (LK Advani) has reconstituted the panel of spokespersons,” BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley told reporters here, naming himself and Sushma Swaraj as the main spokespersons and Manvendra Singh and Prakash Javdekar as the additional spokesmen.
