Indian spies held in Pak

Pakistani authorities say they have arrested five men alleged to be functioning as agents of India’s external intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). The five were
“activists of a terrorist organisation operating in the interior of Sindh”, The News quoted Tariq Jamil, a senior police officer, as saying here today. He said police had recovered five pistols, 20 kg of explosives, detonators and safety fuses, besides anti-Pakistan literature from
the five men, identified as Faiz Chandio, Saleem Soomro, Tahir Soomro, Ghulam Nabi Saharan and Ghulam Umar. “The terrorists had completed surveys of two different places where they planned to explode bombs at gas and electricity installations, besides staging a blast at both the tracks of the main railway lines near the Kotri railway station in Sindh,” the newspaper said.
