Bajaj V15 launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: HH Bajaj, authorised distributor of Bajaj Motorcycles launched its new creation, the Bajaj V15 on July 10. The 150cc motorcycle from Bajaj gets metal from the scrapped aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, which is the USP of the bike. It is powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC two-valve, air cooled, DTS-I engine generating maximum power of 12 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 13 Nm at 5500 rpm.

Shekhar Golchha, Managing director, HH Bajaj, said, “Unmanaged traffic, ruthless public vehicle drivers, unpredictable weather and potholed roads have made roads a war zone. In order to address these problems, a weapon had to be designed; one that would cater to the riders’ needs and help them overcome these road hassles,” adding that V15 has been launched keeping these factors in mind.

The engine of the bike is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Bajaj V15 is powered by Features like single and double seat. Balancing and cushioning for a smooth ride make Bajaj V15 an invincible and attractive motorcycle. The fuel tank capacity of the bikes is 13 litres. The V15 will be available at a price of Rs 2,04,900 and offered in two colour options — Pearl White and Ebony Black.
