The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted 23 construction companies for stalling the contracts of various public bodies.

Issuing a notice today, the PPMO has said that the companies have been blacklisted in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2007 after receiving complaints from various agencies. The companies will also be barred from participating in any procurement process of public bodies for as long as they are blacklisted.

According to the decision made by PPMO, Pappu Construction, Koshi and Neupane Nirman Sewa have been blacklisted for one-and-a-half years for stalling the construction of a project on basis of a complaint filed by Road Division, Okhaldunga.

Likewise, the PPMO has included Natasha Nirman Sewa, Tribeni Constructions Ltd, Samriddhi Construction Services, Nava Nirman Builders Pvt Ltd, and BKB Construction and Suppliers for a year.

Similarly, Bluebird Design and Construction, Naya Norman Sewa, Shubham Constructions, AK Construction, KR Construction Services, and Arvan Construction Pvt Ltd have been blacklisted for a year.

Meanwhile, the PPMO has blacklisted Mabohang Construction, Nava Nirman Builders, Chetna / UKN JV, Lama Buddha Construction and Material Suppliers and Action Builders for two years.
