Kathmandu, February 23

The eighth edition of 'Nepal Buildcon International Expo 2023' began at the exhibition hall in Bhrikuti Mandap today.

More than 150 companies are exhibiting over 300 brands and products like construction materials, construction machinery, construction heavy equipment, housing and apartments, pre-fab structures, UPVC windows machinery, UPVC profile, doors and windows, architectural hardware, bathroom fittings, pipes, tiles and sanitary ware, roofing, aluminium composite panels and many more.

The four-day long expo is jointly organised by Media Space Solutions (MSS), Nepal and Futurex Trade Fair and Events, India to provide platform for both national and international construction material manufacturers and domestic traders to promote their products and services.

According to Srijal Bhattarai, managing director of MSS, the expo is an international event and Nepal's largest construction-related expo that exhibit different brands and products of national and overseas companies that been used in architecture, buildings, construction, design and engineering under the one roof.

"The expo has focused on showcasing advanced construction technologies, inspiring innovative products and services for maximum exposure and greatest reach in our country's growing construction sector," Bhattarai said. "We reckon this expo gives buyers an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies from national and international companies at affordable price as well as create platform for international manufacturing companies to meet dealers and distributors from Nepal to extend their business."

Bhattrai further stated that this type of exhibition will prove to be an effective tool to get COV- ID-battered economy back on track .

Alongside the eighth Nepal Buildcon International Expo, Nepal Housing and Investment Expo 2023 and Nepal Construction Machinery and Heavy Equipment International Expo 2023 are also taking place at the same venue.

Visitors can walk in for free at the expo that will be on till February 26.
