The price of gold reached a new record in the domestic market on Sunday, soaring by Rs 3,000 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 152,600 per tola, a significant increase from Rs 149,600 per tola on Friday.
Following the trend in gold, the price of silver also saw a rise on Sunday. Silver increased by Rs 50 per tola, bringing the price to Rs 1,810 per tola, up from Rs 1,760 per tola on Friday.
