KATHMANDU: IMS Group, which prides itself on being number one in the mobile segment, has acquired the distributorship of SsangYong, a Korean automobile company. The grand launch of IMS Motors and the unveiling of luxury Korean brand, SsangYong, took place recently, as per a media release issued on Saturday. Deepak Malhotra, chairman of IMS Group and Dikesh Malhotra, president and CEO of IMS Group inaugurated the SsangYong showroom located at Uttardhoka to mark the occasion. Rates of some of the models of SsangYong are Rs 5.375 million for Tivoli, Rs 7.525 million for Korando, Rs 9.975 million for Rexton and Rs 5.50 million for Actyon Sports. SsangYong has two authorised service centres — Auto Home at Jwagal, Lalitpur and Auto Village at Ratopul, Kathmandu. IMS Motors has a special offer of gifts through scratch coupon for first 14 ‘special’ customers who purchase any SsangYong models. The gifts include Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, Samsung S7 edge, 40-inch Samsung TV, and washing machine.
