KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15

Telecom operator Ncell has pledged to rebuild its operations after several of its facilities-including the Ncell ICON head office in Kathmandu and regional offices in Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara-were heavily damaged during last week's unrest.

In a statement, the company said the vandalism not only caused significant property loss but also endangered employee safety and service continuity. Despite the disruption, Ncell kept customers connected by providing free voice calls, SMS, and internet services for three days.

Congratulating newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki and the interim government, Ncell expressed hope that the youth-led change will bring unity, peace, and prosperity to Nepal.

The company highlighted its two decades of contribution to the country's digital growth through job creation, economic development, and support for the Digital Nepal vision.

Ncell also extended condolences to those who lost their lives during the unrest and wished a swift recovery to the injured, reaffirming its commitment to serve Nepal with "renewed determination and resilience."
