POCO has officially re-entered the Nepali market after a three-year hiatus, launching three new 5G smartphones in partnership with its national distributor Teletalk Private Limited.

The brand, owned by global technology company Xiaomi, unveiled the POCO X7 Pro 5G, POCO F7 5G and POCO F8 Pro 5G, aiming to strengthen competition in Nepal's mid-to-premium smartphone segment and offer performance-focused devices to consumers, particularly youth and mobile gamers.

Teletalk Executive Director Pratik Jalan said the company is confident that POCO's return will provide Nepali consumers with powerful devices equipped with fast chipsets, long-lasting batteries and modern features designed for seamless gaming, multitasking and everyday connectivity. He added that the partnership would ensure wider nationwide availability through official showrooms and retail outlets, along with reliable after-sales service. The company said the new launches reflect POCO's "Performance First" philosophy.

The flagship POCO F8 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm SM8750-AB Snapdragon 8 Elite processor built on 3nm architecture, featuring an octa-core configuration clocked up to 4.32 GHz. It comes with a 6.59-inch Eye-Care AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6210mAh battery supported by 100W fast charging, 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and runs on Android 16 with Hyper OS 3. The device includes stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos tuned by Bose, Hi-Res Audio certification and a triple-camera setup comprising wide, telephoto and ultrawide lenses. It also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and is available in Titanium Silver, Blue and Black.

The POCO X7 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset built on 4nm technology with an octa-core processor clocked at 3.25 GHz. It features a 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6000mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge support, 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and operates on Android 15 with Hyper OS 2. The smartphone includes stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support and a dual-camera system with wide and ultrawide lenses. It also offers IP68 protection and is available in Black, Green and Yellow.

Similarly, the POCO F7 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (SM8735) processor built on 4nm architecture with an octa-core configuration reaching 3.21 GHz. The device features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED ultra-bright display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 6500mAh battery, 90W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging capability. Running on Android 15, it comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, along with stereo speakers and wide and ultrawide camera lenses. The model, available in Silver, also carries an IP68 rating.

All three smartphones feature single front-facing selfie cameras for high-quality photography and video calls. The company has set the retail price of the POCO X7 Pro 5G at Rs 55,999, the POCO F7 5G at Rs 69,999 and the POCO F8 Pro 5G at Rs 99,999.

Customers will receive a one-year brand warranty, and EMI facilities of up to nine months have been introduced to enhance affordability.
