KATHMANDU, MARCH 26

Shree Airlines has acquired two more 80-seater aircraft. The private sector airline company has procured 'Dash 8' planes manufactured by De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (DHC).

The call signs of the two aircraft that landed in Kathmandu today are 9N-AOK and 9N-AOL, as stated by Anil Manandhar, the institutional manager of Shree Airlines. It is reported that these aircraft were previously operated by Horizon Air and Alaska Air based in America.

Manandhar mentioned that both planes will be deployed for commercial flights soon after completing the required processes mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

With this latest addition, Shree Airlines now boasts a fleet of 10 aircraft, in addition to its operational eight helicopters.

Shree Airlines commenced regular flights to various destinations in Nepal in 2017, utilizing two 50-seater CRJ 200 aircraft and two 70-seater RJ 700 jet planes.

The airline, which procured two additional 80-seater aircraft in 2019 and again in 2022, has been expanding its flight destinations.
