KATHMANDU, JUNE 15

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) contributed a ventilator, 20 oxygen concentrators, 10,000 N95 surgical masks and 2,000 gloves to Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to support the government's relief activities against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The medical and health equipment were handed over by Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar, CEO of SCBNL to Dr Roshan Pokharel, chief specialist on behalf of MoHP.

Representing the bank, Pranu Singh, head corporate affairs brand and marketing; Asim Thebe, health and safety coordinator; and Alka Pant, manager corporate affairs, were also present at the event, as per a media release.

SCBNL had earlier contributed NPR 57.50 million through various projects for COVID-19 relief during the first wave in Nepal.
