Internet service provider Subisu has started providing free Wi-Fi services at relief camps and affected communities in Nuwakot to help flood-affected families stay connected and access essential information.
The company has installed free Wi-Fi at the relief camp at Bhairum Secondary School in Bidur-8, Hattigauda, where more than 200 flood-affected people are taking shelter.
Subisu has also provided free internet service at Chandra Jyoti Secondary School in Pipaltar, where around 300–400 flood-affected people are staying.
The company said the initiative was aimed at addressing communication needs during the disaster and helping affected people remain in contact with their families and relatives.
Subisu said it would continue providing free internet services at relief camps and other affected communities in Nuwakot based on local needs.
