KATHMANDU:

To elebrate the golden jubilee of the Nepal-Russian diplomatic and friendship relations, Kaal Bhairav will be presenting the sixth edition of Shubharambha — the musical journey on August 5 at the Russian Cultural Centre.

In order to revive and preserve the old-time classics Kal Bhairav has organised various musical soiree in memory of late singers, who’ve contributed tremendously to the Nepali music industry and left behind timeless melodies.

Shubharambha’s sole objective is to revive the timeless classic music and songs of early ‘50s to early 90s, the golden-era of the Nepali music industry.

Shubharambha is a group of 10 young and aspiring artists, who are determined to revive and preserve the old-time classics that influenced the then contemporary composers, lyricists, and singers to produce the best songs ever.
