KATHMANDU, AUGUST 18

Nepathya, prominent folk-rock Nepali band, has concluded it's Japan tour with a mesmerizing concert at the 'Namba Hatch' in Osaka city on Thursday.

Band's lead singer Amrit Gurung led the band to the stage and started the show with their hit song 'Koshi ko pani yo Zindagani' to entertain the full-house arena.

In between the musical performance, band's vocalist Amrit Gurung interacted with the audiences and even asked them to visit mountains of Nepal. He also urged the Nepali audiences to preserve their Nepali culture and heritage.

As the concert went on, band played their hit numbers including 'resham', 'veda ko unn', 'chekyo chekyo', 'aaganai vari', among others. From folk tune filled 'Sirafula' to sentimental hit 'yo zindagani', the audience swayed and sang with Amrit Gurung, Nepathya vocalist.

By the time, the concert had reached its end, the Nepathya fans were singing and dancing along with Amrit Gurung--the concert concluded with the band playing 'rato ra chandra surya'.

As usual, Amrit Gurung was supported by Dhruba Lama on drums, Suraj Thapa on keyboards, Subin Shakya on bass, Niraj Gurung on guitars and Shanti Rayamajhi on madal.

The show lasted for more than two hours in which 16 songs were performed and two music videos displayed on big screen to entertain capacity crowd, organizers said.
