People, who had received the first jab of Covishield vaccine three months ago, turned out in great numbers in Rautahat today to take the additional jab. The shots were given at Nepali Army's Bir Dal Battalion Vaccination Centre in Gaur with the initiative of District COVID Crisis Control Management Committee.
"Many people took vero cell vaccine last week, but for those who had taken covishield vaccine's first dose earlier needed the same vaccine for the additional jab, that's why we asked the central government to provide us the same vaccine for those people who had taken the first dose earlier," said District COVID Crisis Management Control Committee Coordinator Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav.
"Data of the vaccinated people will be finalised by tomorrow," said Yadav.
