Govt forms six-member committee to investigate his self-immolation

In the wake of Prem Prasad Acharya's self-immolation, an FIR has been filed with the police.
Advocate Swagat Nepal and others reached Teku and filed a complaint. Nepal said he had lodged a complaint against all the persons mentioned by Acharya on social media.
Nepal lodged FIR on behalf of Acharya's wife (Nanuka Adhikari Acharya).
According to Nepal, he filed the FIR in accordance with Section 185 of the Criminal Code, 2017.
Section 185 of Criminal Code, 2017 stipulates that "no person shall abet the commission of suicide by another, or create, or cause to be created. Such circumstances shall lead towards the commission of such Act." It further states: "A person who commits the offence referred to in subsection (1) shall be liable to a sentence of imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years and a fine not exceeding Rs 50,000."
Nepal said according to section 185 of the Criminal Code, 2017, death of Prem Acharya is a criminal offence, adding, "That's why, we have lodged the complaint."
He also said it was not only Criminal offence it was 'Hara-kiri'.
Nepal also informed THT that "he was influenced by so many people and that took him to the verge of committing suicide, which is mentioned in his last post, and it is known as 'Dying Declaration' in law. And it is also taken as an strong evidence."
He elaborated that dying declaration as an evidence according to Evidence Act 1974. And according to this dying declaration, we have registered the FIR in District Police Circle, Teku.
The FIR mentions the names of legal institutions and individuals and also the state.
Some of the names the FIR includes are Kathford International College of Engineering and Management, Balkumari, Lalitpur; Saan International College, Naxal; Suzuki Showroom, Thapathali; Dairy of Tek Bahadur Sapang, Suryodaya Municipality-11, Ilam; metrotarkari. com and NEP EXPRESS UAE, Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Kanyam Inn, Bhatbhateni Supermarket Owner Min Bahadur Gurung, and the Government of Nepal.
The Government of Nepal has been accused of not protecting the fundamental rights of deceased Acharya.
Government of Nepal has been accused according to Article 16 of Part 3, Fundamental Right.
Article 16 stipulates that "every person shall have the right to live with dignity."
