Kathmandu, November 17:

The Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) today awarded Pitambar Sigdel, reporter of the Annapurna Post, for “best reporting on avifaunal and environmental conservation” for this year.

Issuing a press statement today, the Bird Conservation Nepal stated that the award carries a purse of Rs 10,000 which is provided every year to the best reporter for excellent reporting on environmental conservation.

The Bird Conservation Nepal handed over the conservation award to journalist Sigdel at a function organised here.
