Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) is all set to organise open rock-climbing competition in Kathmandu on the occasion of golden jubilee celebration.

In a statement, the academy said other events including inter-college basketball, futsal and futsal between the affiliate under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation will also be held.

In line with the 'Sports for Health, Sports for Nation' the event has been initiated to foster friendship and promote sports climbing in Nepal among young people, said ECA Coordinator Shuvam Paudel.

The events will be organised on March 16, 17 and 18.

Open rock-climbing at Nagarjun rock climbing, Nagarjun while futsal will be held at Ball Park Sports Event and Academy in Gwarko and basketball in the premises of NATHM, reads the statement.

The winners and runner-ups will be awarded with attractive prizes, medal and certificates on 'NATHM Day' which falls on March 27.
