Nepali, Chinese teams discuss
Kathmandu, September 28:
A high-level study mission led by Jagadish Chandra Pokhrel, Vice-Chairman of the National Planning Commission today met Wu Dawei, Vice-Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of China.
The two leaders expressed happiness over the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, a statement issued here today said.
Pokhrel briefed Dawei about the political and economic situation of Nepal and also praised China for its consistent and generous assistance to Nepal over the past decades.The Nepali study mission also met Huang Baodong, Vice-President of Sino-Hydro Corporation and held discussion with the senior officials. During the meet, the Nepali side urged the Corporation to participate in infrastructural development projects in Nepal.
