KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress would take a decision regarding its candidacy to the posts of President and Vice-President by holding discussions with other parties.

The elections to the posts of President and Vice President have been scheduled for Wednesday in the Legislature-Parliament. The NC, which is the largest party in the House, has still failed to choose its candidates for the posts.

A meeting of the NC office-bearers held at the residence of the party President Sushil Koirala at Maharajgunj decided to file its candidacy to the posts after holding discussion with the parties represented in the Parliament, said NC Vice-President Ram Chandra Paudel.

The meetings of NC office-bearers and central committee held on October 24 had decided to file candidacy to the posts.
