KATHMANDU: A woman died in a tipper-motorcycle collision in Santungal on the western outskirts of Kathmandu, along the Thankot-Kalanki road section, on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Renu Bhattarai (48) of Sipradi, Chadragiri Municipality-16.

The motorcycle (Ba 16 Pa 8775) en route to Kalanki from Thankot was rammed into by a tipper (Ba 2 Kha 7572) heading towards the same direction, at around 5:45 pm.

Bhattarai had died on spot.

Police have impounded both the vehicles and have arrested the tipper driver.
