KATHMANDU: The Madan Puraskar Guthi has revealed the names of eight books shortlisted for this year’s Madan Puraskar.

Nayan Raj Pandey's Yaar, Yangesh's Bhuiiyan, Dhrubasatya Pariyar's Kairan, Saraswati Pratikshya's Nathiya, Nilam Karki's Yogmaya, Tirtha Gurung's Paathshala, Mohan Baidhya Kiran's Himali Darshan and Raj Manglak's Limbuni Gaun were shortlisted from a total of 253 entries.

The Madan Puraskar Guthi presents the award to one literary work each year. In 2017, Poet Ghanashyam Kandel won the Madan Puraskar for his poetry Dhritarastra.
