Bouddhanath turns colourful and bright after sunset

The Bouddhanath Stupa glows in the evening lights on Saturday, November 19, 2016.
Acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Kathmandu Valley, the ancient Buddhist site recently underwent a renovation after the Nepal earthquake on April 25, 2015 partially damaged it. The stupa would be formally opened to the public on Tuesday, November 22.
