PANCHTHAR: A person was killed and three others sustained critical injuries after a tractor they were travelling on met with an accident at a tea estate in Ranitar-6 of Panchthar district this morning.

The tractor (Me 1 Ta 3690) loaded with logs had overturned and fell off the road, informed police.

Police identified the deceased as 52-year-old Bhim Bahadur Gurung of Ranitar-6 in the district.

Gurung who was critically injured in the accident died while undergoing treatment at the Phidim-based Pathibhara Hospital, informed the Panchthar District Police Office.

Meanwhile, police said other injured are undergoing treatment at the B&C hospital in Birtamod.
