18 Maoists hurt in Khara found dead

Eighteen Maoists, who were injured in the incident that took place at Khara, of Rukum district on April 7 have been found dead.
According to RNA’s Public Relations Directorate, 18 Maoists who sustained injuries in the security forces’ action at Khara on April 7 have been found dead at Dhakadam area of Salyan district.
Meanwhile, two Maoists were killed on the spot during security forces’ action as they tried to hurl socket bombs at the security patrol in Naumule area, Dailekh district, on April 12. Socket bombs, explosive devices and terrorist documents have been recovered from them.
Sarita Budha ‘’Pastu’’, Subarna Budha ‘’Shanta’’ and Bishnu Rokka ‘’Pushpa’’ of Patmara and Rani areas in Jumla district, who were involved in terrorist activities, surrendered before the security forces on April 11 citing disenchantment with terrorist activities. The security forces defused six bombs planted by a group of Maoists on a bridge near Daiji, Suda area, in Kanchanpur district on April 12.
Altogether 1,490 persons suffering from various ailments were provided free check-up and medicines at a health camp which the security forces had organised at Martadi Health Centre, Bajura district, on April 12.
