22 kindred injured in Dailekh bus accident
DAILEKH: As many as 22 persons were injured when a bus they were travelling in, ran out of control along the declined road of Guransh Rural Municipality-4 in Dailekh district on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred after the bus (Bhe 1 Kha 2233) en route from Surkhet to Dailekh, skidded to a halt, injuring all passengers and the driver aboard the bus, at Taal Pokhari, at around 6:30 pm yesterday, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Dailekh.
Of the injured, four were reported to be critically hurt and have been rushed to a hospital in Surkhet for treatment, the DPO informed.
Police identified the critically injured as Udaya Shahi, Angat Shahi, Tara Shahi and the bus driver Upendra Shahi.
The ill-fated bus was ferrying 22 kindred pilgrims including the driver, from Kohalpur, police added.
