BAJURA, JUNE 18

A local in Badimalika Municipality has been struggling for his life due to lack of treatment expenses in Bajura.

Thirty-nine-year-old Ram Bahadur Bista has been facing hard time for the last nine years as he has no money for his treatment. He had received treatment in Bajura District Hospital after he fell sick. The district hospital referred Bista to a Dhangadi-based health facility for further treatment. But he has no money even to travel to Dhangadi.

Bista is suffering from fever, headache, body ache, stomach ache, among other problems.

The hospital could not diagnose the disease. Bajura Hospital suspected thyroid problem and other complications and referred him to Dhangadi-based Seti Provincial Hospital.

Ram Bahadur's wife Man Kala Bista said Bajura District Hospital referred him to Dhangadi for treatment.

"But there is no middle way for treatment," she added. She said that he had no money to reach even Dhangadi. She added that she was finding it difficult to run the five-member family ever since her husband fell ill. She said that her husband was the sole bread winner of the family.

"But we are now finding it difficult to make our ends meet," she said. Man Kala has urged all the individuals and organisations to help her husband.

She said that he had also requested the local government for help.
