Ward 3 chair of Devghat Rural Municipality Kritiman Aale was found dead four days after he went missing at Gondrang Pakha in Tanahun on Monday.
Police said Aale was missing for the last four days. Office attendant Anirudra Kafle of the ward office said that Aale left for his house after work on Friday.
His family members did not search for him as he had said he was going to Damauli for party work. The body was found on a cliff.
Police said it had been sent to Damauli Hospital for post-mortem and further investigation was under way.
