MYAGDI: A Dutch mountaineer has reportedly been missing while returning to the Italy camp from the Dhaulagiri base camp.

According to DSP Bishworaj Khadka of the District Police Office, Myagdi, Christian Wilson (35) had gone missing since May 17.

Though security personnel and a helicopter were mobilised to search Wilson, but to no avail, Khadka said.

It has been learned that four Jordan and American nationals, who were along with Wilson, had returned from the base camp after they failed to climb the mountain, but Wilson stayed there alone.

Family members have appealed to the concerned authorities to help find Wilson.
