LDO’s release sought

Kathmandu, July 7:
Sarita Bimali, wife of Siraha district Local Development Officer (LDO) Keshav Prasad Bimali, today appealed to human rights bodies and journalists to pressurise the authorities concerned
to release her husband immediately. Keshav Prasad has been kept under detention on the orders of Eastern Regional Administrator Jagadish Khadka and Sagarmatha Zonal administrator Ram Kumar Subba. Sarita today appealed to the National Human Rights Commission, the Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights and journalists to put pressure on the government for his release. She also said that she will file a habeas corpus writ in the Supreme Court against the two administrators.
