BAJHANG, FEBRUARY 10

Dutta Giri, 50, of Thalara Rural Municipality in Bajhang used to take his agro products to market and bring daily essentials via the suspension bridge until 19 November 2021.

Likewise, residents of Dangaji in Bajhang and Chhapaliin Doti have also been using the suspension bridge to take their home products to the market and bring essential goods home.

But now they have been put in trouble with the incessant rain-triggered flood of October last year sweeping away the suspension bridge.

The locals of Thalara Rural Municipality are now facing trouble supplying their agro products to the market after the flood swept away the suspension bridge connecting Regam and Deura market areas. Thalara Rural Municipality has been making efforts to construct and install a new suspension bridge.
