KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 21
Traffic has resumed on a one-way basis along the Muglin–Narayangadh section of the Prithvi Highway after authorities cleared debris from a landslide at Tuin Khola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, Chitwan.
The slide, which began Friday, had blocked the key highway for more than 40 hours, stranding thousands of travelers.
According to the department, several other major routes-including the Prithvi and Araniko highways, Thori–Bhandara–Malekhu, Galchhi–Trishuli–Betrabati–Mailung–Syafrubesi–Rasuwagadhi, Rani–Biratnagar–Itahari–Dharan–Dhankuta–Hile, and the Koshi Highway from Leghuwaghat to Kimathanka-remain fully closed, while one-way traffic has resumed on 168 other roads.
