KATHMANDU, APRIL 27
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 378, on Thursday as 111 persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,002,869 while the death toll remains at 12,029 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 990,462 with 60 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,517 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,040 were PCR tests while 1,477 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 6,033,879 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 33 positive case in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
