Nepal's coronavirus caseload reached 762,647 on Tuesday with 1,523 more people testing positive for the infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 716,306 with 1,786 discharges logged today.
On the other hand, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll increased to 10,750 with 20 more fatalities.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, 12,222 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 9,117 were PCR tests while 3,105 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 3,915,146 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 141 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests amount to 1,664.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 93.9%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.5%. The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 35,591.
Currently, there are 329 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
In the same time frame, 413 infections were reported in the capital city while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur reported 87 and 64 cases respectively.
On Monday, Nepal's coronavirus caseload had reached 761,124 with 1,902 people testing positive for the infection.
Globally, over 217 million people have been infected by the novel coronavirus while 4.5 million people have lost their lives to the disease.
Likewise, over 194 million people have recovered while more than 18 million cases are still active.
