PM Oli meets Cambodian National Assembly President
PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently in Cambodia for an official visit, has held a meeting with the President of National Assembly of Cambodia Heng Samrin at Cambodia's parliament building today.
Nepali Ambassador to Thailand Khagnath Adhikari said that the leaders discussed contemporary political, bilateral and parliamentary affairs of both countries.
According to officials at Cambodia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, the visit is expected to strengthen Nepal's friendship with the Kingdom of Cambodia and promote economic, trade, tourism and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chief Advisor of the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Affairs Advisor Rajan Bhattarai, secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, along with other delegates were also present at the meeting.
PM Oli had reached Cambodia following a five-day official visit to Vietnam.
