Prohibitory orders imposed by the district administration to control COVID spread have been relaxed in Bara.

Issuing a notice yesterday, Bara District Administration Office, said all businesses, shops, among others, except education institutions, would be operated from today between 6:00am to 6:00pm by maintaining social distancing and health protocols.

Chief District Officer Surendra Poudel said service would be provided to service-seekers on the basis of token system till 3:00pm. He added that private and public vehicles could ply on the basis of odd and even number plate system.

Vehicles with odd number plates are allowed to operate on odd dates and those with even number plates on even dates. The DAO has advised drivers of public vehicles, their helpers and passengers to wear masks and follow health protocols.

The administration has also granted permission to operate hotels, lodges and party palaces with 'one room, one guest' system and at 50 per cent occupancy. The schools, campus, training centres, among others, can be operated in the physical presence.

Similarly, large gatherings such as haatbazaar, fair, jatra, among others, have been prohibited. People can buy daily essentials within the given time. The administration has imposed ban on seminars, meetings, and other gatherings.
