Sanjay Kumar Sah sent to judicial custody
JANAKPURDHAM: The Dhanusha District Court today ordered police to keep suspended lawmaker Sanjay Kumar Sah under the judicial custody.
Sah is facing a case at the Court for his alleged involvement in media entrepreneur Arun Kumar Singhaniya's murder.
A bench of Judge Narayan Prasad Sharma issued the order.
Sah had been giving his written statements since November 16.
He is currently in the judicial custody for his alleged involvement in a bomb explosion case at Ramanada Chok of Janakpur. Earlier, he had faced a 21-month jail term for an arms and ammunition case.
According to lawyer Bipin Kumar Jha, the hearing in the case had ended on Wednesday evening, but the decision was taken on Thursday.
"Sah is under the judicial custody for his involvement in two cases now," he added.
Sah had fled to New Delhi of India after his involvement was suspected in the bomb explosion case and Singhaniya's murder case.
Sah has been denying his role in both the cases.
