Tehrathum: As many as 60 outstanding and needy schoolchildren from Athrai Rural Municipality in Tehrathum district have been provided with educational materials.

Deurali Society, Tehrathum, distributed stationery materials, uniforms and bags to the brilliant and students from poor parents in all seven wards of the rural municipality.

Social mobiliser Subhash Kandangwa of Deurali Society said that materials worth Rs 60,000 were distributed to lure students towards community schools and make the parents responsive to the kids' education.

Action Aid Nepal provided the financial support for the cause, according to Social mobiliser Kandangwa.
