The school administration of Saraswati Secondary School expelled nine students after they thrashed a teacher at Brindaban Municipality, Rautahat.

The school rusticated the students and initiated legal action against Prem Raya, a guardian, after they attacked Kailsh Yadav, the teacher. Police took Raya under control.

Yadav had punished the students for making noise in the class. Raya thrashed Yadav with a stick on Thursday. Yadav received injuries on the body. He is being treated at Chandranigahapur-based Janata Community Hospital. The students are: ninth grader Dilip Yadav, Sunil Yadav, Saroj Yadav, Nitesh Yadav, Rahul Yadav, Umakanta Yadav and seventh graders Ram Bilas Yadav, Rupesh Yadav and Sunil Yadav.
