DAMAULI, FEBRUARY 15

As many as 1,890 vaccines against COVID-19 reached Tanahun yesterday.

Tanahun Health Office Chief Shankar Babu Adhikari said that the vaccines were brought to the district for the second phase of the inoculation drive for first priority persons. He said that security department, journalists, staffers of government offices, people's representatives, bank staffers, among others, would receive the vaccine against the virus.

Chief District Officer Sagar Acharya, Tanahun District Coordination Committee Chief Shantiraman Wagle, and SP Arun Poudel, among others, were vaccinated yesterday.

Those vaccinated receivers rested at the same place for an hour.

Adhikari said that symptoms such as vomiting, fever, and headache were seen among people. He said that those who received the jab were requested to rest at home adopting all safety measures.

As many as 1,830 frontline workers such as health workers and sanitation staffers, among others, were inoculated in the first phase.
