Two-way traffic on the East-West Highway in Daunne has resumed today after a section of the road was repaired. The road had been disrupted due to sinking caused by inundation from continuous rainfall.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Resham Bohara of the District Police Office, the road section at Khursani Khola in Bardghat Municipality-4 was repaired last Friday at 5:30 PM. Full two-way traffic was restored by 11 AM today.
Although one-way traffic had resumed at 9 AM on Saturday, cargo vehicles were not permitted until the road was fully restored.
