'Zero tolerance for corruption' says former PM Nepal
RAUTAHAT: Former Prime Minister and senior UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the government would take stern actions against anyone involved in corruption over development projects in the nation.
Leader Nepal said so while laying a foundation stone of 52-km long road stretch at Jhunkunuwa in Yamunamai Rural Municipality of Rautahat district today "No on should meddle in developmental projects and programmes directed to fulfilling basic requirement of people."
"Only change would be felt in the society after government initiate to sent the corrupt people to jail." Nepal shared.
UML senior leader Nepal said 'Don't eat bribe, eat rice' leftist government will take stern actions and sent to jails anyone found meddling in corruption. Similarly, government will also promote and encourage honest employees.
Leader Nepal claimed that development will follow as soon as the government gets full shape. He further said development projects have commenced in the district.
The leftist government has given top priority for the development and put forth programmes accordingly. "No compromise would be done for development."Nepal asserted.
"Do not interfere in development, lets unite together for the development of the nation." Nepal stressed.
The 52-km stretch road is estimated to cost around Rs 1 billion and 220 million.
On the occasion, former Urban Development Minister Prabhu Sah along with other local representatives were present.
