KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 03

Supporters of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli staged a motorcycle rally in solidarity with the PM's decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, in Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

People came out into the streets of the capital city to support PM Oli's move of December 20 to dismantle the Lower Houser of federal parliament and call for elections more than a year ahead of schedule.

The Prime Minister's decision has caused much chaos within the political sphere of the nation resulting in a split in his own party, the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
