Nepal Badminton Association on Tuesday extended its helping hand in the treatment of former international shuttler and coach Kalpana Rana, who has been suffering from blood cancer for a long time.

The NBA had run the donation drive to help Rana and they raised Rs 166,560 from the office bearers of the association, coaches, former and current players and well wishers. NBA President Ramji Bahadur Shrestha, Secretary Nabin Bikram Shah, coaches Rajani Joshi and Kiran Thapa, and former national champion Bikash Shrestha handed over the amount and other essential goods to Rana at her residence in Lalitpur.
